So turns out we are opening up a couple runs and lifts this weekend... if you guys can make it, it would be awesome.

Cascade Mountain is proud to announce an early open Saturday and Sunday, November 24 and 25, 2007. Thanks to the cold temperatures we have received lately, we have been able to make enough snow and anticipate opening 4 trails including the Upper North Wall, North Wall, Schoolmarm, and Bunny. There will be 2 chairlifts available, the Mountain Top Express, and Schoolmarm. Lift hours will be 9am to 4:30pm each day. The Annual Turkey Jam will take place on Saturday, November 24 from 12pm to 3pm. Registration is $1.00US. We are offering our Season Pass holders 2 Bonus Days; this weekend, all types of ski passes will be valid both days. For more information on opening day including pricing, please call 1-800-992-2754. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible snow around, and make your ski or snowboard getaway a memorable one.

Turkey Jam went well.. 79 people entered. it ran a little long, but with that many people on 2 features it was bound to take some time. tom stephen and i didnt get to ski that day because we were worked.. tom didnt sleep the night before, and me and stephen got maybe 2 hours of sleep.. at 4 in the morning i crushed my pinky in between a box and the trailer it was on... dropped it and my pinky was on a piece of angle iron. so work eventually made me go to hospital, they xrayed and its not broken but its a really deep bone bruise. but all the skin was peeled off and my fingernail looks like it popped over my skin and its pretty gross...
